January 6, 1941 President Franklin Roosevelt delivered his State of the Union address to congress in which he shared a vision of four freedoms that all Americans should enjoy:  Freedom of Speech, Freedom Religion, Freedom from Fear and Freedom from Want.  These freedoms were jeapardized as America was plunged into World War II. American Illustrator Norman Rockwell chose to support the war effort through paintings of these four freedoms.  These freedoms are again in danger in America today. But there is one freedom that no government, tyrant, dictator, or political idealogy can ever take away--the freedom that we have in Christ.  The Apostle Paul says that "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free."  Christ, through His death and resurrection has given us freedom from sin and sinful passions.  But we must continue to live in that freedom by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
