Following the message on our Continuing Conflict with Good and Evil it is necessary that we be informed of how God has made provision for us to be prepared for that conflict. The Apostle Paul writes in Ephesians chapter six of the armor of God that we must put on, armor that is suited for protection against the ultimate enemy--Satan. We need to be aware of the devil's schemes and we must "be strengthened" by the Lord's mighty power. The Christian's armor includes truth, righteousness, the gospel, faith, salvation and the whole word of God. And there is one more necessary thing in our spiritual warfare--prayer. The Apostle urges 4-fold prayer: prayer on all occasions, all kinds of prayer, always praying, and prayer for all the saints--including himself.
