Sometimes in prophecy the messenger becomes the message. Such was the case with Hosea. God told Hosea to take a wife who was an immoral woman. Hosea was a message to the people that God loved them in spite of their spiritual adultery. His message was that they must "take words with you" and return to the Lord.
Our words are important. We can come to the Lord with words of confession, words of praise. God's words to us are as the words of a love song and words of wisdom.
