God sent two prophets to the city of Nineveh to warn its people of God's impending judgment. First he sent Jonah and the people responded with repentance, so that God did not destroy the city. But soon they returned to their wicked ways. God then sent Nahum to declare His judgment. But Nahum also had a message of comfort from God for His own people: The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.
